Dream it, Build it features 13 LEGO® brick recreations of some of the most famous architectural structures in the world created by Certified LEGO® Professional, Adam Reed Tucker. Tuckers work on exhibit includes the Burj Khalifa, the Empire State Building, the Jin Mao Tower, and the Gateway Arch. As part of the exhibition, Tucker has created scaled model of the Van Andel Museum Center building.
The exhibit includes areas where visitors can create their own brick masterpieces while taking inspiration from the architectural artwork surrounding them. Admission to the exhibition is included with general admission to the Museum; tickets can be purchased at the GRPM Front Desk.
Throughout the GRPM there are also works on display from the Western Michigan LEGO Train Club™ in conjunction with Milton Train Works™”, which include a model of Grand Rapids in the late 19th Century complete with a moving streetcar.

BEST IN SHOW
In collaboration with Meijer, the GRPM held the Meijer Dream it, Build it Building Contest where individuals and teams entered their original LEGO® creations to compete for great prizes. On display now through August 31, are the 1st place entries from each category who competed for Best in Show.
The Best in Show winner, by public vote was Alan Chupp, from the 18 and older individual category. His creation was a Phoenix. He took home a variety of prizes including: 4 tickets to see the “Real Pirates” exhibition coming to the GRPM this fall, 4 Grand Rapids Mini Maker Faire tickets for this Labor Day weekend, a Skylark LEGO® kit, a $1000 Meijer gift card, and a LEGO® watch.
Voting took place July 8 through August 19.
