Bring in your babies and toddlers! We are excited to welcome our youngest learners to get hands-on at the Museum.

Great Start is bringing 150 books for early readers, and they’re giving them away for FREE!

And puppet friends from WGVU’s Our Show Today will have an interactive table set up from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rover the squirrel and Ray the alien can’t wait to meet you!

Every day from Saturday, March 29 through Sunday, April 13, guests can expect activity tables and games in addition to special theme activities. Volunteers will bring out Discovery Carts, where guests can handle real Museum artifacts and specimens. Guests can also grab a scavenger hunt from the front desk to complete as they explore exhibits.

Spring Break Fun is included with your general admission tickets and Kent County kids 17 and under get in FREE every day.

Closure Notice

The GRPM will be closed for Easter on Sunday, April 20. We will reopen on Monday, April 21 for normal hours.

Closure Notice

The GRPM will be closed on Thursday, September 12, 2024 for an event. We will re-open on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 9 a.m. 

Late Opening Notice.

On Saturday, May 11, the Museum will open at 12 p.m. due to road closures for the Amway River Bank Run.

Early Closure Notice.

The Museum will close at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 for Museum Adventure After Dark. Tickets are still available!
