Meet the Michigan Alphorn group, hear them play, and learn more about the iconic instrument.

See ballet dancers from Avant Theatre Ballet, whose mission is to create an inclusive ballet environment where dancers and artists can authentically express themselves, offering unique performances and entertainment that challenge traditional norms of ballet.

Grand River Squares for demonstrations and invite guests to try their hand at square dancing.

Plus, Museum staff and volunteers will showcase music instruments, artifacts, and crafts!

Summer Saturdays: Summer Saturdays expand engagement opportunities at the GRPM to beat the heat inside the Museum or to embrace the heat by exploring the downtown corridor with us. In addition to Unseen Oceans, visitors can explore special themed activities almost every Saturday from June 13 to August 15.  Each Summer Saturday focuses on a specific area of science, history, and culture, bringing a different theme and perspective to Museum guests.
