Holiday Traditions

December 21st, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Kick off the holiday season and come explore at the Grand Rapids Public Museum! Dive into the wonders of history, science, culture, and all the holiday festivities during Camp Curious: Snowflake Break Sessions. For two weeks this December, the fun and exploration of Camp Curious returns. 1st through 6th graders can use the Museum as a learning lab – experimenting, learning and growing – all while having a great time in one of the area’s most history-rich environments.

Celebrate the season by exploring how cultures from around the world celebrate various holidays. Learn about Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Three Kings’ Day, and Christmas while investigating the Museum’s artifact Collections. Campers will explore the Museum for stories, traditions represented, and maybe an elf or two.

Tickets are $40, with a discounted ticket price of $30 for members.

Camps will have a capacity of 16 tickets per camp.
